Asparagus retrofractus L. has needle-like, short and thin leaves that look fluffy from a distance and comes with a light fragrance. Although its leaves fall off easily and the bottle insertion does not last long, it is suitable for potted plants to be arranged in halls and balconies. It is also possible to make bouquets of dried and dyed ponzu.
The flowering period is from June to August and the fruit ripens from October to December.
